Pumpkin Patch Fashion

Happy Monday Strutters!!

Pumpkin lattes are being posted all over instagram, B&BW pumpkin candles are lit, and the pumpkin smocked dresses and flying off Facebook...it is time to to go to the pumpkin patch!  Now, if I know y'all as well as I think I do, your outfits for the kids are already picked out and they are picture ready. What about you? Are you just going to go in a boring outfit, avoid pics and then be pissed you did later? Well, Suburban Strut to the rescue!

I have put together some outfits that you can use for inspiration! I know that I have gotten some of my favorite family pics from the pumpkin patch. The colors are gorgeous and the kids always look so adorable and happy. Take this opportunity to get a great one this year by ensuring you look cute as well....

Let's say, y'all are taking the family on Saturday afternoon.  This is the best time to wear your favorite jeans or colored skinnies, a tunic, denim shirt and scarf with boots (or leopard flats!)...it will be warmer and not too breezy, so this is the perfect fall outfit...

Here are some top options...
Right to left, top to bottom
Old Navy, Old Navy, Savoir Faire, Old Navy, Gap, Old Navy, Gap and the last orange tunic from Savoir Faire.

Some cute skinnies and jeans from Old Navy and Gap - LOVING all the Fall colors

Look at all these cute Fall scarves Gap is carrying this year!!!  They are not super cheap, but you could pull these out every year for Fall. This would be a great buy if you only buy accessories for pumpkin patch attire if you have the rest!

Well, let's say, you go Friday evening...wear a chunky fall sweater or cardigan with skinnies and add a scarf or fun statement necklace! Look at these gorg sweaters!! I may have posted some of these before, but I still love them :)  A denim jacket or cute vest over the previous tunics and tops would look perfect as well!

Right to Left, top to bottom: Altard State, Savoir Faire, Savoir Faire, Savoir Faire, Savoir Faire, Mint Julep, Mint Julep, and the gorgeous aztec cardi from Savoir Faire.

What if you want to go Sunday after church? Well wear a cute long tunic or dress to church with tights or leggings and boots....Throw a cardi over the sleeveless ones...
Right to left, top to bottom: Altard Stare, F21, Altard State, F21, Altard State, Mint Julep, Altard State, Mint Julep, and Old Navy.

The main goal is to wear something in Fall colors that will match the kids.  Of course wear something that is still comfy and we all know that you will probably getting dirty picking pumpkins so keep that in mind.  This is the best opportunity to break out your boots.  Here are my pumpkin patch pics from last year with my family...
One of my faves!!! Let me know if you need any help finding something and please tag me if you wear a SS inspired outfit to the patch :)...

Happy pumpkin picking!
